ADA Compliant Sconces

In 1990 US Congress enacted the Disabilities Act, which requires public accommodations and commercial facitlites to comply with specific guidelines. The projection for a decorative lighting wall sconce in a corridor must measure no more than 4" from the wall if mounted between 27" and 80". The sconces on this page meet these specifications. Other sconces marked ADA also meet the requirements of the Disabilities Act.

ADA compliant wall sconce available in three sizes and with two light sources. A soft curve of thermoformed white glass appears to float off a polished chrome frame.

A white metal backing mounts directly to a standard 4" junction box. There is an inner glass sheet that shields the lamps from view and then the outer layer of glass is secured by one or two decorative screws depending on the size of the sconce.
