Ron Rezek
In 1986, Ron Rezek was approached with the idea of updating the 100-year-old ceiling fan. An accomplished industrial designer with notable achievements in areas from lighting and furniture to life-saving and rescue equipment, Rezek recognized the opportunity to introduce contemporary design to this very important but overlooked product category. Rezek and The Modern Fan Co. have infused the ceiling fan with their own brand of creativity and a pragmatic approach to design.

The Modern Fan Co. was born of a singular inspiration: to produce ceiling fans that while keeping users comfortable, also address the aesthetic requirements of contemporary minded design professionals and homeowners. Ron Rezek's career as a design entrepreneur and educator lends a rich and authentic heritage to Modern Fan that is evident in our products and ever present in our company culture.
