Framing Projectors use focusing lenses and metal shims to light just a picture and not the wall.
Create a square or rectangular light area to illuminate artwork or displays. Frame a crisp edge with no light spillage, making paintings look as if they are self-illuminating.
The best effect is achieved with low level ambient light and distances less than 10'.

They are available as accessories to attach to track lighting, ceiling or wall lighting. Complete track heads are available in LED or Metal Halide.

WAC Series Framing Projector to Project Image with a Gobo
Framing Projectors may also be used to project images on a wall through the use of a flat disc or lens called a gobo.
Gobos are flat discs with cut out images, similar to a stencil. The cut out can be any design, letters, images, or patterns. The images are then projected on walls. Gobo's are not limited to simple designs, many are sophisticated multi colored images transferred to glass. Gobo companies have a selection of standard designs and most offer custom made gobos, such as a company logo.
WAC does not make gobos.
For optimum performance highlighted objects should be 3 to 5 times the light level of ambient room light.
